CNN: German archive collapse

NOTE from DearMYRTLE: Thanks to reader Laurie Haldeman-Lambe who forwarded a link to the CNN report and writes: DearMYRTLE,I certainly hope & pray all the people in the building get out safely, but it was the last line of the article that decided me forwarding this to you -- this archive house is home to many of Cologne's "most historic documents, some of which are up to 1,000 years old." What a calamity if they should be lost in the very building that was supposed to protect them!

FOR MORE INFO, see the CNN report Collapsed building hurts 3 in Germany which reads in part "The main building which collapsed is the Historic Archive of the city of Cologne. [...] The building itself was an unremarkable 20th-century structure, but the archives it contained were very valuable."
