It is with great pleasure that Ol’ Myrt here announces the release of the April 2009 Organization Checklist. Upon completion, we all will be 50% better organized than when we started -- provided we don’t complicate matters by doing any additional research. (grin)
Like many genealogy societies who've turned to digital presentation of their newsletters, these organization checklists are presented in .pdf format, so they will look and print the same on every computer system.
Where possible, Ol’ Myrt here has added clickable links to places on the web. In Acrobat Professional (you may have the free Acrobat Reader) one must hold down the “shift” key when clicking a hyperlink, in order to get to the website in question.
“Well, the time has come! It is our FOURTH month of organization checklists. Is it an editorial comment on our current performance that today's list just happens to appear on APRIL FOOL'S DAY? I have already heard great tales of lamentations from several of you who are organizationally “challenged" shall we say? Well, fear not! You can learn to become organized. You can do it! This month's program provides opportunities to venture out to research libraries, continue that dreaded filing, and to begin working more closely with distant family members."
Happy family tree climbing!
Your friend in genealogy.
