DearREADERS,
It is with great pleasure that Ol’ Myrt here announces the release of the May 2009 Organization Checklist. This month we officially tackle:
- Scanning old documents
- Transcripts versus abstracts
- Fiber artifacts
.PDF FORMAT
Like many genealogy societies that have turned to digital presentation of their newsletters, these organization checklists are presented in .pdf format, so they will look and print the same on every computer system.
HYPERLINKS
Where possible, Ol’ Myrt here has added clickable links to places on the web. In Acrobat Professional (you may have the free Acrobat Reader) one must hold down the “shift” key when clicking a hyperlink, in order to get to the website in question.
EXCERPT
“With the possibility of a swine flu pandemic, many of us may find ourselves home for a 7-10 period. Local schools and churches in Park City, Utah are on such a “lock down” right now. We pray that this illness will not be as devastating as the 1918 flu outbreak. But let’s not wait for a health crisis to force you home with nothing else to do but finally get organized.”
