Ol' Myrt has picked up her registration packet for the 2009 Federation of Genealogical Societies annual conference here at the Peabody Hotel & Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. One thing that wasn't immediately clear is the location of tonight's APG (Association of Professional Genealogists) Genealogy Roundtable. Fortunately postings on various mailing lists include this information from Beverly Rice:

Genealogy and the Law, a panel discussion
Tuesday, September 1, 2009, 7-9 pm
Peabody Hotel, Quachita Meeting Room
The panel includes Paula Stuart-Warren, Mary Penner, Mary Ann Boyles, Alvie Davidson and Debra Braverman. They will discuss topics including Tribal Law, Forensic Research, Probate, and Private Investigation.
Then there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask question of the panel.
The Roundtable welcomes all APG members, their guests, and PMC registrants.
Ol' Myrt here will be attending this APG Roundtable discussion, as they always prove interesting and useful. Tomorrow I'll also attend the APG Professional Management Conference, an additional payment track you can register for by going to the FGS website: www.fgs.org .
Happy family tree climbing!
