Research is more than information gathering

DearREADERS,
This morning marks Ol' Myrt's attendance at a second workshop in a week facilitated by Thomas W Jones, Ph. D. CG, CGL, FASG, FUGA, FNGS.

Look at all surviving docs for many years for each surname connected with the family, even where the relationship to known ancestors is not yet clear.

Consider socio-economic status as a factor to determine kinship. In our sample case, the poor people, paid less taxes, and signed legal documents with an X rather than their signatures.

Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt :)
