MORE Blogging for Beginners Webinar TOMORROW

Our friends at Legacy Family Tree are hosting DearMYRTLE's MORE Blogging for Beginners Webinar TOMORROW. We did a quick run-though yesterday to be sure all systems are go! Here's the DETAILED scoop of topics Ol' Myrt here will discuss during the webinar:

  • Add Page (like a tab) on your blog for disclosure statement.

  • Hide (effectively remove) the Blogger Nav Bar across the top

Here's how to attend the live webinar:
  1. Register at http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/Webinars.asp It's free!
  2. You'll receive a confirmation email containing a link to the webinar.
  3. Listen via headset (USB headsets work best), your computer speakers or by phone.It also works best if you have a wired, high-speed internet access.
  4. Click on the webinar link (found in confirmation) a few minutes prior to the start of the webinar. Arrive early as the room size is limited to the first 1,000 arrivals that day.
  5. You may type in the 'questions' portion of the GoToWebinar interface.
  6. If you wish to verbally ask a question, the webinar host may "open your mic". Questions not answered during the webinar will be answered in a follow-up blog posting at DearMYRTLE's Genealogy Blog.

  1. Great webinar! I started a blog (MyGeorgiaRoots.blogspot.com) this year after hearing a series of podcasts by Lisa Louise Cooke. Then I watched your first "Blogging for Beginners Webinar", and now this one, and picked up more new tips. Many thanks for your time and effort in sharing your knowledge of blogs and blogging.
