An Ancestry.ca search specialist is on the line

DearREADERS,
A funny thing happened whilst ( how very British-English of me!) preparing my previous blog post UK Railway Employment Records 1833-1963. I received the following "pop-up" invitation to chat with a live Ancestry.ca representative.  (The CA stands for Canada.)

The pop-up says:
Need help with your search?
Chat with an Ancestry.ca specialist right now.

Then there is the button to "start chat". Alternately, one could elect to call 1.800.958.9065.

Have any of my DearREADERS seen anything like this before at Ancestry?

My guess is Ancestry.ca is experimenting with a method for assisting researchers AND building interest in the site.

Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt     :)
DearMYRTLE,
Your friend in genealogy.
