Did you spot the new Facebook padlock option?

DearREADERS,
The image of a padlock connotes security, and that's just what this new-to-me option on Facebook is all about. Bringing security settings out from obscurity and right up there on the main Facebook menu bar. Has this option rolled out for you yet? Here's my screen shot, so you'll know what to expect.

Clicking that padlock drops down the menu for users to change settings:
  • Who can see my stuff?
  • Who can contact me?
  • How do I stop someone from bothering me?
Sadly, there appears to be no setting to force Facebook from periodically changing the settings we select. (sigh)

Happy family tree climbing!
