DNA: Creating a GEDCOM of My Genealogy Data





 

DearREADERS,

Amidst her busy schedule, my DNA Consultant, +Angie Bush found time to assist in the creation of my GEDCOM file (generic genealogy data file format) to upload to Family Tree DNA. While Ol' Myrt here certainly knows the mechanics of creating the file, I wasn't sure how "wide" to make it. It didn't seem logical to include only direct-line ancestors. Fortunately Angie provided sound advice. In this example, I used RootsMagic.
