Sponsors

Sponsoring a DearMYRTLE Workshop Webinar includes these elements:

  • Currently my room capacity using the GoToWebinar interface is 100.
  • Mention of sponsorship with hyperlink and graphic in DearMYRTLE blog announcement about the upcoming webinar.
  • Mention of sponsorship in description on GeneaWebinars Calendar.
  • Mention of sponsorship with hyperlink and graphic in GeneaWebinars blog post advertising the webinar.
  • Mention of sponsorship in description on GoToWebinar registration page.
  • Mention in question at registration "Do you have a ? Yes, No, Planning to get one."
  • Mention at the beginning, middle and end of the webinar with a slide and hyperlink sent to the entire audience.
  • Mention with hyperlink and graphic in the DearMYRTLE blog notice of free access to the archived webinar on my blog site within 2 days of the live webcast.
  • Mention with hyperlink on the webinar archive page at DearMYRTLE.com.
  • Mention with hyperlink and graphic in the GeneaWebinars blog post about the availability of the archived webinar.

Some potential sponsors mention affixing the sponsorship fee based on the number of attendees, but as one cann see, that is only a small portion of those who are seeing the sponsorship.
The number of persons who register for the webinar is a better number indicating breadth of reach to motivated individuals and cannot be disregarded.
Proof of Registrations
DearMYRTLE will submit a GoToMeeting screen shot after the webinar of the number indicating the number registered, so the number may exceed 100. Then it's just a matter of affixing a dollar amount to the number of registrants in our contract. DearMYRTLE is not opposed to a maximum cut off amount. However, the sponsor benefits from continued exposure at my site and through RSS feeds of both blogs; and these sponsorship benefits are not factored in the sponsorship figure.
A major-player genealogy sponsor has agreed to assist when my registrations require the 1000 room capacity.
