DearMYRTLE,
I just listened to you latest podcast yesterday. You talked about labs.familysearch.org
I have been unable to get into the page. [It] has the message of "not available." Do I have the correct address? I have been trying all day yesterday and today and get the same message.
DearARLENE,
Hello! Thank-you for writing! Ol' Myrt here always tries to provide links to items discussed in a podcast on my blog, which is searchable at: http://www.blog.DearMYRTLE.com.
In this case, I recall the recent topic you specified.
Ol’ Myrt described the process of registering to use the FamilySearch - Record Search Pilot test site in her blog entry titled “View microfilm before it's indexed”.
The follow-up blog entry is: " Browse unindexed microfilm online TODAY"
However, I just tested out the links in the blogs and they work fine.
http://labs.familysearch.org is the direct link.
I don't know if this lab test site was down when you tried to access it for a period of time on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, as I have been away to the ocean with Dad and his brother. However, I do know that some web browsers auto-insert "www." so you must also type the http:// before typing the labs.familysearch.org as a work around.
Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt :)
