If you’ve got African American or Native American ancestry, you’ll want to look into well-known genealogy author and lecturer Angela Y. Walton-Raji’s new African Roots Podcast which debuted earlier this month. It’s located at: www.AfricanRootsPodcast.com
I’ve known Angela since the old AOL (America Online) Genealogy Forum days in the 1990s.
- She is the author of Black Indian Genealogy Research: African-American Ancestors Among the Five Civilized Tribes, An Expanded Edition (1993, updated 2007).
- Her work is quoted in numerous books about Native American and Black ancestry. Merely search for her name at Amazon.com and you’ll spot many references in other books including Ancestry’s Red Book.
- You’ll find information about Angela’s areas of expertise, lectures, and professional affiliations at http://www.estelusti.com/angela_walton-raji.htm
