NARA tests Saturday pulls, thanks Diane

Ol' Myrt here cannot find this notice in her packed email box, but Diane Haddad of Family Tree Magazine's Genealogy Insider Blog mentions today that the National Archives is testing out Saturday pulls of original document files in the month of July.

This is big news, and I give Diane all the credit for reporting this.

See Genealogy Insider: National Archives I Adds Saturday Record Pulls in July for details of pull times, etc.

This changes my schedule for the week. Ol' Myrt here has debated facing the 100+ degree weather for today and tomorrow or put off my Civil War pension file research until next week. I'll support the Saturday research offerings instead since theoretically the Metro won't be so busy. The Archives has it's own stop.

Myrt :)
