Elsie's experiences during WWII in Washington DC, England, France and Korea, and during the Korean Conflict with two tours of Japan are chronicled in her letters home and photos. I spent 8 days in Florida gathering scanned images and photocopies of everything so we can go forward with the blog (which will have everything) and the book (which will have the highlights.)
Be sure to also read the following blog entries at DearMYRTLE that explain a little bit more about who Elsie is, and why this book is so important to me.
Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt :)
