www.legacyfamilytree.com/webinars.asp. Here's an abbreviated outline of the 30 minute class Geoff presented:
1) AniMap software (U.S. & Canada): learn how to find the correct county for the time period, and
2) Centennia software (Europe and Middle East)
3) Map My Family Tree software (entire world): plot your ancestors on a map of the world, track family migrations, plot to Google Earth, use the time scroll bar to dynamically select which time period you want displayed on your map and more.
Just as I was about to publish this blog entry, my friend Geoff Rasmussen wrote to share the news that Legacy Family Tree'snext live webinar will feature FamilySearch’s Jim Ericson. He'll speak about FamilySearch Indexing. It's scheduled for 6 October 2010, and you can register now at http://tinyurl.com/39bvs2a.
You can trust Geoff to keep ya in the loop about how to effectively use Legacy Family Tree, and now it is great to see his company broadening their horizons to spotlight other topics of primary importance to genealogists with this second webinar offering. Bravo, Geoff!
Happt family tree climbing!
