Atlanta GA: FHExpos count-down

So, NOW even my dear Legacy Family Tree-Crusing friend Patti, aka the Florida Orange Grower's Wife, has registered for the Family History Expo 12-13 Nov 2010 at the Gwinnett Center, 6400 Sugarload Parkway, Duluth, Georgia 30097 developed by our friends at www.FHExpos.com.

But I am not sure if Patti knows that there are over 100 classes being offered! AWESOME. That's 11 each hour. So if you have want to:
  • discover that elusive female ancestor
  • learn about the new "Flip Pal" mobile scanner
  • demystify social networking
  • practice FamilySearch Indexing
  • test out genealogy software program
  • explore specific genealogy websites
  • untangle online library resources
  • study ethnic roots ~ African American, Jewish, Native American
  • learn more about English, Welsh, German, Irish, Scottish research
  • delve into Southern land & tax records
  • get the latest from FamilySearch
  • spiff up scanned images and photos
  • get published
  • determine whether DNA testing is realistic
  • study "cluster group" research results
  • focus on Civil War Union & Confederate record groups
  • learn about DAR & NARA records in Washington, DC
  • understand US civil jurisdictions
  • "Kiss those Brick Walls Good-bye!"
... then come on down to the Gwinnett Center THIS weekend -- Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of November. You can bet Ol' Myrt will be there -- wouldn't miss it!

Ol' Myrt will spend the better part of each day in the exhibit hall in the "BLOGGERS OF HONOR" (Booth#'s 605, 606, 607) area ready to help you set up your own blog, or learn new tricks to customize your blog.

Happy family tree climbing!
