ReplyDeleteThe vendor list was updated late today -- there are now 6 additional vendors besides those listed above (hopefully I counted correctly!)
ReplyDeleteFamily Tree DNA is one of the added vendors and will be at booth #703. I'll be there all day Friday and Saturday to help visitors learn about Genetic Genealogy -- DNA testing for genealogy!

BTW!! I had a turtle named Myrtle (for obvious reasons) and that next winter when my Grandma came to Fla. to stay with us from Indiana for the month of Feb. she told me that she really liked my turtle. I asked her why since she had lots of house cats, barn cats, hunting dogs, chickens, cows and pigs. And that's when she told me that HER name was Myrtle, too! She was the greatest grandma and the one who got me into family history. I still love going back and reading her notes from court houses and family stories.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great Myrtle story. The REAL Gramma Myrtle in my family was my Dad's mom. She's the jam maker, and the one who had retired so we spent overnights at her home in Puyallup, Washington.
