Ol' Myrt's posting earlier this week, Concerns About Ancestry.com and Genline Images, spotlighted inaccuracies in the description of the source of the imported Genline images, brought to my attention by Elisabeth Thorsell, a noted Swedish genealogy scholar.
This morning I've received news from Sabrina and Heather, employees of Ancestry.com, that the description of the collection has been updated.
That's an amazing turn-around! And it gives Ol' Myrt hope that Ancestry will continue to be responsive when errors come up. I defer to those more experienced for the evaluation of the updated database source description. Elisabeth?
Happy family tree climbing!
