Mesa Family History Expo 2011

Mr. Myrt and I arrived in sunny, beautiful Mesa, Arizona earlier today -- and we've been enjoying the balmy 72 degree weather all afternoon. Tonight I'll be resting up, as tomorrow's Arizona Family History Expo opens at the Mesa Convention Center.

Myrt's presentations?

  • Friday 1:30pm - Blogging for Beginners
  • Friday 4:30pm - 7 Habits of Highly Successful Genealogists
  • Saturday, 11am - Ancestry Trees Can Jumpstart Your Genealogy Research - Live Demo (No, I don't work for, I just think it is prudent to let computers do the walking for ya!)
Join me at the Bloggers of Honor area in the exhibit hall, if you'd like help setting up your own blog. I'll have my computer set up and ready to use:

  • Friday 3pm to 4pm
  • Saturday 12:15pm to 4pm
The Keynote address will be given by Lisa Louise Cooke. She's the producer and host of the Genealogy Gems Podcast, an online genealogy audio show at She is the author of the book Genealogy Gems: Ultimate Research Strategies and the DVD Google Earth for Genealogy, a national conference speaker, and writer for Family Tree Magazine.

You can register at the door!
