During our news media breakfast at 7am Thursday 10 February, Ol' Myrt spotted the AncestryInsider taking copious notes on his laptop. He is sitting near the double row of FamilySearch computers that are linked to the nearby Family History Library network. This enabled RootsTech attendees to search databases and subscription websites to which the Library subscribes.
Thus far, AI has written the following blog entries describing this marvelous inaugural RootsTech experience:
- RootsTech and the Changing Face of Genealogy
- RootsTech Expo Hall is a Winner
- FamilySearch Technology Booth
- Jay Verkler Opens RootsTech Conference
- RootsTech Conference Opens
- Family History Centers Get Ancestry.com
- RootsTech for Free!
- RootsTech for Family History Consultants
Trust Ol' Myrt to keep on top of the important news from RootsTech 2011. Failing that, we do have input from our friends.
Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt :)
