GeneaPress streamlines arrival of press releases

Ol' Myrt has just returned from a 2-day Valentine's Retreat, and what to my wondering eyes should appear in my email box but the announcement of the new GeneaPress Blog . This consolidated "news" blog may make things easier for some of my DearREADERS.

GeneaPress is an especially important blog, as it will remove of the challenge of cross-posting news releases. I simply don't like to put them all in my blog. Some I don't even wish to post at all. I will take the press-releases sent to me, and make sure they ARE posted over at GeneaPress, as Thomas has just added me as one of the bloggers there.

  • This leaves my DearMYRTLE blog for my opinions, organization checklists, docu-challenges and other fresh content.
  • GeneaPress  will also clean up your Google Reader, as you won't see 15 of the top bloggers posting the same announcement.

The advent of GeneaPress means I can devote my blog to actually posting personal comments about a product or service.

Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt     :)
Your friend in genealogy.
