Archived 1940 Census webinar available now

Here's the link to the archived version of last night's DearMYRTLE's 1940 Census Images and Indexing Webinar, sponsored by our friends at RootsMagic http://www.rootsmagic.com/webinars/1940census .

Click on a "Watch" link to watch a past webinar in your web-browser (Adobe Flash required). To download a past webinar, right-click on the Download link and choose "Save link as..." to save it to your computer. All webinars are in .mp4 format and are viewable by Windows Media Player, iTunes, and most other media players. Here is a free program that will play the downloaded webinars.

The 1940 Census webinar sessions will meet every evening this week (April 2-6, 2012), and you may attend any or all of the sessions with your single registration. Last night someone was concerned because we were discussing the collaborative 1940 indexing project and felt they were in the wrong webinar. As you'll notice from the recorded version of the webinar, both the indexing process and accessing images of census pages were discussed in some detail.
