Popular interest in a "workspace" for analysis and correlation of multiple documents has been sparked by the arrival of the new Evidentia software reportedly 'supports research by guiding you through the Genealogical Proof Standard, the standard by which acceptable genealogical conclusions are judged.' See: http://evidentia.ed4becky.net
After some Facebook discussion about Evidentia, Ol' Myrt here is thrilled to host a 2-part webinar for genealogists who would like to learn more. Here's how it will work:
- Russ Worthington and Laura Cosgrove Lorenzana will appear as panelist to show Ol' Myrt here the Evidentia software ropes through a few Powerpoint screens and live demos, effectively guiding us through some of the useful options.
- There will be suggested "homework" for those who wish to try the program during the 30-day free trial period offered at the Evidentia website http://evidentia.ed4becky.net. Coming back top the second session provides opportunities to resolve questions.
- Register once to receive automatic email reminders for access each webinar.
- The software developer, Ed Thompson, will attend both sessions to observe how end-users are using his program. We might give him some good ideas for future versions of Evidentia.
All DearMYRTLE Workshop Webinars (c) feature a little bit of PowerPoint and a lot of demos.
