Ol' Myrt is completing my handouts for Friday's Blogging for Beginners webinar
hosted by our friends at LegacyFamilyTree.com and FamilyTreeWebinars.com . You’ll find the
direct link to the archived webinar here,
within a few hours after the initial webcast.
GOAL: This session provides
additional support for newbie bloggers and is a follow-up to the previous
webinar Blogs: Easy-to-Make Web Pages
with Ol’ Myrt here and my daughter Carrie Keele available for review here.
PROCESS: During Friday's webinar, Ol' Myrt will briefly
review the 3-step blog set-up process discussed during our last session, then focus
on composing creative blog posts, inserting graphics including captions with
attribution. Learn about the advisability of end notes and using MS Word for composing.
We’ll discuss disclosure statements, and how a blog can literally be a portfolio
to build interest in your society, or professional research service.
Blogs are
so easy, you'll be up and blogging in no time at all.

I started a blog when Pat gave this webinar almost 2 years ago - I did it in real time as she showed us how and it was what it took to get me going! I'm not real prolific, and I mostly just blog family history, but I have a blog! It's a lot easier to do than many realize.
