DearREADERS,
OK, our US holiday break is over, and tonight we'll head on over to DearMYRTLE's Google+ Community
to comment during tonight's Mastering Genealogical Proof Study Group.
Tonight we will be working on Chapter 4 after some review of our Chapter 3 homework. This will surely extend our discussion from 90 to 120 minutes.
You do need to join Google+,
which is as easy as activating it from the menu bar on the top of your
Gmail page. Then join Ol' Myrt's free community located here:

HOW TO VIEW
Things have changed again over on YouTube, so you won't find a "feed" tab anymore. Here are the simple steps:
1. Go to DearMYRTLE's YouTube Channel located here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/DearMYRTLE/feed
2. You may need to refresh the browser page. We will begin promptly as follows:
8pm Eastern US (New York)
7pm Central US (Chicago)
6pm Mountain US (Denver, Salt Lake City)
5pm Pacific US (Los Angeles)
If you need a time zone converter, there is a great one located here:

MORE HOW
To accommodate a large group, we are using the Google
Hangout On Air platform, originating at DearMYRTLE's Genealogy
Community on Google+ located here:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/104382659430904043232
All
COMMENTS and links to assignments will be posted in this community.
Participants may use a blog or a public Google document to share a homework
assignment.
Unlike a webinar, the link for a G+ Hangout on Air isn't created until just before the event is to go live.
Closed-captioning is a feature of the live HOAs and recorded HOAs,
through a service provided by Google. I'd say the speech recognition is
about 90% accurate.
NOTE: The "filmstrip" of panelists receive their own invitations to JOIN the HOA. Merely be online on Google+ and you'll see the popup invitation in the lower right corner of your Google+ screen. Alternately, I'll post the link to JOIN the panel in the private MGP Study Group Panelists private community.
Happy family tree climbing!
Myrt :)

I have listed to the last three classes again this week to prepare for this week -- and you are right, even though I enjoy everyone's input, I have developed favorites ... weird. I like everyone and respect everyone's opinions, but there are still some that I feel like I am on their wavelength with .... I look forward to tonight!
