TANGIBLE MEMORIES
It's not every day Ol' Myrt here runs across such a delightful website as familyhistoryinart.com. Larry D. Macfarlane has taken his family history interest and combined it with his artistic talent to create one-of-a-kind paintings. I have an appointment to meet Larry in person on Friday. I am thinking of having him do a painting of Glen and Blanche's home in Medina, Washington.
SPEAKING OF IMAGES
Why Ol’ Myrt here may have to rethink FamilySearch Family Trees. Someone on
FamilySearch Family Trees shared this picture of my second great grandfather,
William Brockerman Wright, and his mother, Mary Ann (Brockerman) Wright. The
other people in this picture are not familiar to me. Mary Ann died in 1913, and
William died in 1916, so this image had to be taken before Mary Ann's 6 Nov
death.
