
Scanning takes for ever, yet we've got to digitize those old photographs and documents mentioning our ancestors. I learned at the National Archives (US) that it's a lot faster to use a copy stand and a digital camera, so why not get one for your home? Maybe several in your local genealogy society can chip in to get one?
