Please write, please share something every week

Today, Ol' Myrt here was looking through the list of 3,200+ genealogy and history blogs to see what I might add to my Feedly blog aggregator. From my random clicks on blog titles, it would appear that many capable, well-intentioned genealogy bloggers are on a lengthy hiatus.

Yet the stories of our ancestors are crying to be told, and our fellow descendants want to know from whence they came.

So, please WRITE. Please write, please share something every week. Share one document, one historical event or one handwritten slip of paper in your blog. I understand daily may be too much, but surely once a week you think of your siblings, parents or grandparents. Share an anecdote, a simple memory.

Yes, it matters.

Please write.

Your ancestors will thank you. So will your descendants.
