Ol' Myrt's *very distant cousin Pinky hosts this hangout - about Google Drive and three apps that work in the cloud. Cloud data storage and apps means nothing need reside on your computer's hard drive. This is the concept behind things like ChromeBooks - light weight computers where internet access is required. These are produced by various companies such as Acer, HP, ASUS, Toshiba, Lenovo and Samsung, to name a few.
Google Drive - Additional hard drive space, in the cloud. It includes free 15GB storage space, not including files created using the following three Google productivity apps:
Docs - a cloud-based word processing app, comparable to Microsoft Word.
Sheets - a cloud-based spreadsheet app, comparable to Microsoft Excel.
Slides - a cloud-based presentation app, comparable to Microsoft PowerPoint.
