ARCHIVED: Mondays with Myrt - 21 Nov 2016

Gosh, 90 minutes doesn't seem like enough time to talk about our favorite topic - genealogy. We spent some time discussing social media courtesies starting with the problem of an author sharing the link to his recent blog post in 10 (!) Facebook groups. Errgh! The thought of my Facebook feed being filled up by numerous duplicate posts makes Ol' Myrt here cringe.

Thanks to Dave Robison's having attended two recent presentations by DNA expert Blaine Bettinger, we discussed the advisability of having as complete a tree as possible online and attached to our DNA to facilitate collaboration with DNA matches.
