ARCHIVED: Mondays with Myrt - 12 Dec 2016

Congratulations to Ed Thompson for releasing the newest version of Evidentia AND a complete redesign of his website Cousin Russ solved a research conundrum using Evidentia. Because the software forces one to look at each information item and to think differently about the data we're collecting. Cousin Russ finally figured out there was a half-brother relationship, as their mother married twice. See Russ' "We're Related-Evidentia to the Rescue" post in his A Worthington Weblog.

I still think it's hilarious that Ol' Myrt is finding all sorts of new cousins using the We're Related App from Ancestry, yet it hasn't pointed out that Cousin Russ and I are indeed cousins.

We spent a large portion of this hangout talking about research process. When great researchers explain the steps they took to arrive at a specific conclusion, following the example of others helps those who follow. There's much benefot to describing where we are in our research and accepting how-to suggestions, not record-group suggestions.

Sure you may watch the archived version of this hangout here and on DearMYRTLE's YouTube Channel, but why not view AND comment here:
