REGISTER: Mondays with Myrt 19 Dec 2016

Join us for our last hangout of the year - Mondays with Myrt - 19 Dec 2016. We begin the broadcast as follows:
Noon Eastern US (New York)
11am Central US (Chicago)
10am Mountain US (Denver, Salt Lake City)
9am Pacific US (Los Angeles)
UTC-7 hours
That leaves us with plenty of time in December to:
  • Wrap gifts for the upcoming holidays.
  • Get some genealogy research done.
  • Consolidate the variety of place names for one locality in our genealogy databases.
  • Scan old photos and letters.
  • Interview other family members, perhaps using your smart phone. You could upload as "unlisted" and share the link with your family on your personal YouTube channel. If you have a Google account, you can activate that free space on YouTube.
  • Write up a few stories about your life as a child.
  • Get your new bullet journal set up.
  • Read the first assignment for the GPS Study Group using Christine Rose, Genealogical Proof Standard: Building a Solid Case 4th Edition Revised, (San Jose, California: CR Publications) 2014.  [Available for under $10 at Amazon and other online book sellers.]
    Assignment: Read in advance
Chapter 1: What is the Genealogical Proof Standard?  for the hangout scheduled Wednesday, 4-Jan-17 at Noon Eastern (US). This includes a discussion of
     evaluation and assembling evidence.
  • Relax and have fun with family.
  • Invite friends over for a marathon game of Monopoly. Do you know they make a "credit card" version, so there cannot possibly be any cheating by the banker?

Sure, you may watch this DearMYRTLE hangout here on this post, or over on DearMYRTLE's YouTube channel, but why not view AND comment before, duing and after over at:
