RootsTech: Coaches' Corner Sign Ups

We just received details about how RootsTech attendees can obtain one-on-one mentoring by the new Coaches' Corner in the Expo Hall. This is useful when attendees bring relevant details such as follows, IMHO:

  • A specific research question.
  • Info about the specific ancestor's name, dates and localities where he/she lived.
  • A summary of records previously searched.
  • Copies (digital or paper) of said records, to verify the document has been interpreted correctly.
One could reasonably expect a few tidbits of advice like:
  • Where to look next
  • Consider you may be looking at two people instead of one from the records you've searched.
  • How to compose a proof argument, so you can see the strengths and weaknesses of your "current thinking."
  • Historical context for immigration push/pull factors
