We just received details about how RootsTech attendees can obtain one-on-one mentoring by the new Coaches' Corner in the Expo Hall. This is useful when attendees bring relevant details such as follows, IMHO:
- A specific research question.
- Info about the specific ancestor's name, dates and localities where he/she lived.
- A summary of records previously searched.
- Copies (digital or paper) of said records, to verify the document has been interpreted correctly.
- Where to look next
- Consider you may be looking at two people instead of one from the records you've searched.
- How to compose a proof argument, so you can see the strengths and weaknesses of your "current thinking."
- Historical context for immigration push/pull factors
